goldenenergy.jpgAre You Facing An Unbearable Situation?

[Rebecca: I have an energy called Christian here, very light and golden, swirling in…]

“Go with the flow. If there is one trick you can master in this lifetime to make every passing minute and hour easy and effortless for you, it is to learn to flow with life, with energy, with space and time.

So many of you are constantly digging in your heels and resisting the flow. You fear time, the passing of the years, your increasing biological age. You fear change in people, jobs, houses and society and lifestyle in general. You fear that which you do not know, recognise or understand. You are quick to make assumptions and judge other people, situations, events and even books which you know nothing about. All of these rigid belief patterns and behaviours impede the natural flow of the universe.

You must learn to open your heart with complete and utter trust in the divine, and trust that wherever each minute, hour and day takes you is always for your best and highest good, with unconditional love, directed by your own higher self, your trusted spirits and guides, and higher forces. When one learns to completely relinquish all hold on life and ease gracefully and gently into the natural flow and order of things with total trust, one finds that all people, situations, events and circumstances begin to resolve themselves beautifully, effortlessly and harmoniously.

When a situation seems almost unbearable in your life, simply breathe, wait and flow with the course it takes you on. Do what your gut feeling says is required in terms of action, and release all expectation or judgement attached to the divine and allow yourself to be carried along by the flow.”

nigel.jpgDoes Your Boss Know What You Can Really Do?

[Rebecca: I have a brown-haired man named Nigel here. He’s a carpenter from Biblical times, around the Red Sea. He has a brown beard…]

“Do not be afraid to sell your merits to anyone at any time. We are taught much in this society not to speak to others of ourselves and our achievements, for to do so is considered arrogant and selfish. However, there is a time and a place and a way in which this can be done which serves to further propel you in your personal advancement and careers.

It is necessary to explain to others, especially employers, what your strengths, merits and achievements are, for you are the only person who can ever do the advertising and publicity for yourself. No one else knows your personal growth and achievement history as well as you do, and no one else will fight your cause as well as you yourself can. The better you communicate to others about who you are, where you are going and what you aim for yourself, the better they are able to assist you on your journey by offering you advice opportunities and showing you down interesting paths.

To stay silent due to a belief of false modesty can be detrimental. Open your mouths and laud your successes to those in positions of power. They respect people who show initiative and express fervour and excitement about where they are going, and they will be compelled to assist you along your way. It can be difficult to begin speaking warmly of yourself if you have never done so before at any great length, but if you begin by telling others sincerely and honestly small pieces of information about who you are and what you have accomplished so far in your years on earth, you will quickly find it will put you in good stead.

People like to know who they are dealing with. They like to understand others and know where they have come from. An aspect of your past which you may think is unimportant may prick up an employer’s ears as they understand a valued skill which you are carrying which they otherwise not have known about, and which they believe would fit perfectly in a role they are fashioning for you in the future. You never know what others are thinking about you, but the more honest and heartfelt information you can supply them about your true self in a trusting and positive space, the better the outcomes will be for you.”

alexander.gifAre You Currently Fighting An Addiction?

[Rebecca: The Greek warrior Alexander has returned with his blonde shoulder-length hair, armoury and tanned, muscled chest. He’s talking about the strength that is required for willpower…]

“Many times in your lives right now you will find that willpower is required. Many of you are painfully aware of your cravings for and addictions to various substances, be they food groups, alcohol, cigarettes or other unhealthy activities. Inside your bodies you are aware that these things are bad for you, and you are trying in the few ways that you know how to break these behaviours and minimise or curb these habits.

I am here to offer you help and strength in fighting your own personal demons. It is one of the hardest things in the world to sit on your couch and watch television when you know that a packet of cookies is calling you from the kitchen. Now, more than ever, it is imperative that you create an iron will and strengthen your willpower into veritable fortresses.

You feel the call to release these unhealthful activities because your intuitive and spiritual selves are blossoming inside you. You are awakening to a greater understanding that there is a better and more healthy way to exist on the earth, and your body yearns to return to this natural state. You are beginning this journey as best you know how, by painfully trying to release yourself from habits and addictions that you’ve maintained your whole lives.

Know that you are being supported and guided on the other side at all times by those angels and guides who love you and are there to act as your cheerleaders. There are also many support mechanisms in place on the earth to assist you, from diet groups and organisations such as Alcoholics Anonymous, drug clinics and supportive friends and family who are all willing to help you release unhealthful patterns and create new ones for yourself and your children.

Do not be too hard on yourself when you’ve made up your mind to quit something – and then old habits steal back into your life again. In the future there will be better ways to curb these addictions, but at the moment you are currently walking the hardest road, one of the most difficult paths, using the hardest way to curb addictions… which is often simply just mind power!

You are to be commended honourably for choosing to be beat these habits ‘cold turkey’. It is one of the hardest things that anyone can ever do, and many of you are currently trying. We honour and respect you all for taking the first steps on this difficult journey, and know that we love and support you every step of the way and are waiting for you at the end with arms outstretched, love, laughter, happiness and joy.”

hecate.jpgWhat Is Your Behaviour Telling The Next Generation?

[Rebecca: I see a witch wearing a classic black pointed hat with a long hooked nose with a wart, blue hair, a black dress and pointed black shoes. She is skinny and holding a broomstick. She is a fairytale witch, but she means us no harm. Her name is Agatha, or Hecate. She’s talking about how to nurse your young ones…]

“All of you will have young children in your lives, whether they are your own new babies or the young nieces ad nephews of your siblings, or children of your friends. Some of you will work in kindergartens or schools, youth centres or churches where many young children under the age of five are present.

We must view the forming of the brains of the world’s newest generation with great sacredness and understand that the growth which they undergo in their first formative years is quintessential to the rest of their lives. You must all act responsibly and honourably as the role models, teachers, leaders and parents to the young children who will be the earth’s caretaker in the future.

Show them excellent modelling. Show them goodness and peace. Show them how to be calm, and how to clearly communicate their needs and wants. Raise them firmly and lovingly. Show them how to have unlimited fun and how to use their imagination, not relying on artificial game stations and the television as a babysitter.

Take them out by the hand into nature. Let them play with their fingers in the dirt, touch leaves and animals, listen to birds. Let them run barefoot on the grass and at the beach. Take them camping and read them books. Speak to them of fairy wonderlands and magical kingdoms, for it is in these states that young children first begin to channel and use their own intuition and imagination for wondrous means and ends.

Give them golden, happy, safe, secure, childhoods so that they may grow into safe, confidence, happy and loved adults who in turn will run the world with a firm but loving hand, and will raise their own children perceptively and wisely and intuitively. Never forget how important your role as an adult is, for every day in all the actions you do in the world, you are modelling to our newest generation how things are done, and paving a path of expectation before them. ”

abigail.jpgPlan Your Own Spiritual Study Course

[Rebecca: There’s a red-headed white witch from long ago, with freckles and milky skin. Her name is Abigail. She’s stirring a cauldron, talking about the alchemy of making magic and destinies. She is mixing a recipe, taking a newt leg, strange spices and mugwort. She is brewing a draught which is for good health and spirits, strengthening the immune system, adding colour to the pallor, and opening one’s psychic awareness…]

“Now is an important time to read many self-help books to open and encourage your psychic awareness. You must be students of your own discipline. If intuition and spiritual knowledge is an area that is widening in interest for you, there is no one who can set a study course for you but yourself.

You alone must choose which books to hunt out, buy, borrow or read to further your knowledge on the topic. It is you who must choose to book into natural therapy courses, or to actively choose to spend time with others who are learned in these areas that they may teach you some of their knowledge in conversation or long hours spent over cups of coffee.

It is you who must ask the questions, and the universe will find ways to deliver the answers to you through a multitude of ways, from catching a television documentary to being lent a book by a friend to overhearing an important conversation. Throw yourself fervently into your new study pursuits and have the willpower to see your studies through wholly and satisfyingly to the end. No one will check if you have finished a book or done the homework for a course; you alone must be the master and school teacher of your own personal pursuits into spiritual study.

Ask yourself which areas interest you most, and spend a short time Googling the various information that is available on all of these topics so that you may hunt down more information and pursue it at your leisure. Little by little, all the hours you spend over the days, weeks and years will add up, so that all of you will become very wise teachers in the years to come.

The earth is waiting for all of you to step up to the task before you: that of embracing the new knowledge available to you all right now and actively playing your role in using this knowledge on a daily basis and sharpening and fine-honing your own intuitive skills for the betterment of your children and the human race.”

virginia.jpgThe World Is Exactly What You Make It

[Rebecca: I have Virginia here. She has very rosy pink cheeks, black glossy curls and brown eyes. She’s plump and smiling, her hands are folded across her lap. She’s talking about goodness…]

“People are innately good. Always look for the good in others. Everyone, no matter how miserly or caught in their negative old habits and bad ways, has an inch of good to be found in them somewhere. Make it your mission to seek the good in others. Have a positive outlook when you set out each day. Train yourself to see good in the world and you will find it in an endless stream of abundance.

Use every situation, every choice, every chance meeting, ever newspaper article and every belief you find creeping into your mind in the course of the day to view the world as a half-full cup, as opposed to half-empty. There are so many positives always surrounding us, but some of us choose blindly not to see them, but instead focus on the negative, the heavy, the low, the cumbersome.

The world is exactly what you make it, and that begins with how you see it, so train your vision to look for the beautiful, the positive, the merry and the giving and you will find that everyone has a touch of grace to be found in them.”

paul.jpgDo You Spend Quality Time With Your Parents?

[Rebecca: I have a tall, thin, gentle, wise man named Paul here. He wears leather sandals. He’s a fisherman on the banks of Galilee with a boat on the water. He is casting nets into the water, and gulls rise in his wake…]

“Honour thy father and thy mother. It is very important in this day and age that we honour and respect our parents. Youth is such a dominant force in today’s society. They cannot be told what to think or believe, and they stride forward into their futures often unwittingly, and without the learned wisdom that comes with ageing years.

There are many merits in youth being so bold, brash and brave, for they pave the way for all things new. However, respect must still be doled out to those who deserve it for the many years of toil and the time they put in on this earth in their varied pursuits: our elders, parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents and others who are older and wiser than us.

There is much we can learn from them if we take time to be still and listen. We are so quick to dismiss and judge the words that fall from their lips, turn our backs on them and stride off, unheeded, into our own destinies. Yet their words are delivered to us with loving, golden wisdom. They mean only the best for us, for they themselves have made many mistakes in their lives which would pain them to see repeated.

Spend quality time with your elders when you can, and quieten any resistance which rises in your heart when you are around their presence. Quieten all the old annoyances and rigid reactions which have formulated into patterns over the years. Close your mouth, open your heart and your ears and be still, and listen intently for the pearls of wisdom that fall from their mouths. Take the knowledge that they are here to offer you.”

raggedurchin.jpgNever Feel That Hope Is Lost

[Rebecca: I have a ragged urchin walking towards me wearing rags and tatters with long, black, wiry hair. She is holding her arms outstretched towards me, beseeching me. She is barefoot, poor and hungry. She says, “I am cold”. She speaks of riches; of that which she does not have. She lived in Ireland during the potato famine and is speaking of the endurance of the human spirit and surviving great suffering…]

“You have within all of you a bright spark in your chests which burns continuously and steadily on throughout hard times. No matter what paths you may walk, through troubled times and happy times, the spark burns steadily on within you, enabling you to battle and survive all which life may throw at you.

Never feel that hope is lost, for even when you have been stripped of all your earthly possessions – clothing, money, riches, material possessions, even those you love – you are left with nothing but your own body and the heart which beats within your chest and, most importantly, your soul…  and your soul is all the richness you could ever want or need on this earth.

It is your soul that lends you character and resourcefulness, strength and utility. It is your soul that drives your forwards, onwards and upwards; that enables you to weather all blows, physical and emotional.

Your soul will see you through all hard times without rusting or denting. It remains as good as gold, year after year. You can never lose it or misplace it, give it away or forget that it is there. It travels with you through thick and thin on whichever path you tread. Your soul is all the riches you could ever need.”

heather.jpgIs Your House Shedding A Skin?

[Rebecca: There is a woman here named Heather with a big, black, curly mop of hair. She’s wearing purple and is quite creative and artistic. She is using her hands to mould and sculpt out of clay…]

“Dark, cluttered houses that see little or no sunlight are bad for the soul and the spirit. If you have corners or areas of rooms in your house which have had junk or clutter piled in them for many years, now is the time to clean them out once and for all.

Dust and clean, throw away that which you no longer need or pass it on to others. Remove heavy, dusty curtains and open windows wide to let in fresh air and light. Burn sweet oils, change sheets or better yet, buy new doonas, cushions, blankets, linens and towels. Wipe out dirty old drawers, vacuum and say a blessing in the doorway of your house, welcoming only good energies in and sending all heavy energies out.

Create spaces in all of the rooms of your house that bring your heart gladness and joy, whether placing small golden statues, fresh flowers or oil burners, feathers, special paintings on the walls, beautiful trinkets or objects or silken scarves – anything that freshens a room and makes it feel loved, and in turn will bring your gladness every time you walk in and see it.

Your house is just like you: it needs to shed old skins occasionally and rebirth into fresher, leaner growth cycles. Help your house and enable it to grow and bloom by clearing away the old and making way for fresh, new, light space. A clean, light house will in turn help you sleep and dream more easily, function clearly and feel lighter in heart and spirit.”

isis.gifWhat Is My Universal Responsibility?

[Rebecca: I have the Egyptian goddess Isis here. She is surrounded by the electric blue light of the lotus flower and has golden scarab beetle motifs hanging from her jewellery…]

“It is time for all of you to rise up and take responsibility here on earth. You may already be what is classed or deemed ‘an adult’, but you are never truly an adult until you have accepted a universal responsibility.

It is time to take responsibility for the future generations of children who will walk the earth and the environment in which they will live. The environment is screaming and crying for your help. You must all rise hand in hand, as the mothers and custodians of this planet, and answer its call. No matter how small, every part that all of you play is significant to the greater outcome.

The time is now. The environment is in trouble and it takes great courage and leadership to stand up and help. You all have it in you, so what are you waiting for? It is your duty to hand down and bequeath the earth to those children you are now birthing, so do not hand them damaged goods.”

eliza.jpgHave You Left Room In Your Life For Surprises?

[Rebecca: I see an American pioneer girl called Eliza – very ‘hootenanny’, with a gingham dress, hobnail boots and an apron. She’s shucking corn. She had a past life in Tennessee…]

“Don’t map out your lives to such an organised extent that you’ve left no room for surprises. The more tightly you grip on to and try to control your destinies, the more they slip away from your fingers like a buttered fish!

It is best to approach one’s goals with a strong vision of what it is you would like and a basic plan devised through your heart and gut feeling of what it is you need to get started on to get there. The rest you must relinquish to the universe; trust that all will unfold in the perfect way and don’t freak out if there are changes to your plan.

Often the unforseen must step in and play its role in order for us to achieve what it is that we wish so badly to achieve. The universe always knows best and nothing that happens is random or accidental, so if you feel that something has happened to block your path or push you down a different alleyway, embrace it and keep walking forward for there is a reason that you are taking a slightly different route to what you had envisioned. Trust is required in the bigger picture.

Use the law of unattachment when aiming for what you want; state your intention purely and clearly to the universe, then unattach and allow it to take its course, for it always does, and you will reach your reward in the way that is deemed best for you, by you and God.”

nobleman.jpgCould You Exist Without A Clock?

[Rebecca: I see a medieval nobleman (‘His Highness’) with black hair and a feather, out hunting on his horse in the forest glades with his falcon flying above him and his hounds behind. He’s wearing magnificent ermine and velvet robes, and has great bejewelled rings clustered on his fingers. He’s a bit arrogant and conceited! He’s talking about time…]

“There is never enough time. Time is an illusion. You let time rule and dictate your lives. You are slaves to your watches and computer clocks. You segment your days up into parcels and packages of time. You do things like clockwork; take breaks at the same time every day and get thrown into a tailspin when daylight saving changes over.

Our ancestors knew how to be very free and easy with time and flow with the cycles, the seasons, the suns and the moons without question or analysis. They felt with their bodies when things felt right to do, whether eating, sleeping, exercising or resting. They never worried about when was appropriate for any of these activities; they simply did them as they saw fit and felt intuitively was the best for them.

Babies and animals live without knowledge of time, and do it in a way that we almost envy. Once you are governed by time you are a slave, for there can never be enough time; or time can drag; or time can cause pressure cookers within us due to deadlines and self-imposed ‘cut-offs’ and time limits.

Stop wearing a watch as much as you can and don’t eat a meal every day at the same time, but rather ask your body when and if it feels hungry, and what it feels like consuming. Sleep and rest only when tired; likewise, sleep during the day if your body demands it. Notice the placement of the sun and the moon and don’t be locked up and shut off to the changing seasons all around you.

The birds in your trees understand that there is no time; they live according to the pulsing rhythm of nature and so should you. Without time comes great freedom of heart and spirit. Enjoy it!"

artemis.jpgUnblock Your Dreams

[Rebecca: The black-haired warrior goddess Artemis or Diana is here. She’s holding her bow and arrow, riding a chariot of fire…]

“Stop at nothing to achieve what you want. Simply put on your armour and stride forth into battle. In life there are often odds in the way, or what we perceive as blockages and barriers. If you stride forcefully through them and pass them, you will realise that nine times out of ten they were merely illusion. In truth there is absolutely nothing blocking you from your way or your dreams if you stride confidently toward your prize.

All you need to do is be clear about the goal you have set for yourself. Attaining goals is relatively easy; it is simply your own fears which you must conquer to do so. You can have anything you dream in life, for the universe supports all requests and wishes. Generate the courage to block out the nay-sayers and the shadows that creep in from both sides which we feed from the darkest places of our minds.

Keep your eyes on the prize and stride forth boldly, knocking such negative forces out of the way with barely a glance, and you shall have all that you want and deserve in life and feel much happiness and gladness of heart. So be it! Learn to be warriors when it comes to what you want and what makes your heart happy, and stop at nothing to procure and claim these riches for your lives here on earth.”

samhain.jpgA Challenge For Your Mind

[Rebecca: There is a wise cat with golden and brown stripes and beautiful wise green eyes here with a name that sounds like ‘Samhain’. She is here to talk to you about books and learning…]

“There is much learning to be had in books. Many others have passed before you that learned or worked out great knowledge, and left all of their findings behind in magnificent tomes. These days people do not read nearly enough. When we do read much of it is mass media, and the few books we pick up or buy are the latest fiction novels or best-sellers in our chain bookstores.

Go back to the classics and rediscover the ancient wisdom that came many centuries before you. Re-read the masters – the Ancient Greek philosophers, the 20th century classics, the mystics and spiritual poets like Ralph Waldo Emerson – the great men and women of the ages who left their magnificent findings in print.

Accepting and absorbing the knowledge that took others so many years to procure via a cosy afternoon spent curled up reading a book is a wondrous thing, and can bring you a many-dimensional experience by enriching many areas of your personality which are currently lying dormant. Get a membership at your local library and go and read a book that you normally would never read today!”

fairy_godmother.jpgA Lesson In Making Magic

[Rebecca: I have a fairy godmother here with snow-white hair, huge wings and a wand, wearing a sparkly, glittery, filmy rainbow dress. She is touching her wand onto all of your heads and endowing you with a little bit of magic…]

“What is magic? Magic can be found everywhere, but mainly exists in small pockets which you must stumble upon or help to awaken. Magic offers sparkle and fire in life. It offers opportunity, wisdom, dreams, love and attraction. Magic can be made, kept, passed on, and lost. You on earth can re-remember the tools and techniques for creating magic in your lives – finding it, reawakening it and sustaining it as you see fit.

Magic is something everybody needs because it breathes life and sparkle into your flesh. It gives us energy, vitality, hope, lightness and joy. Magic is a lovely thing to go about life spreading to others and it always gladdens people’s hearts and puts a smile on their faces when they encounter it. You can all be fairies, dabbling in magic and sprinkling it on others in your own ways. You know how to make the people around you smile, so make it your mission to give them small tastes of magic regularly and often.

Magic makes the world go around, and we are a happier race because of it.”

adam.jpgHow To Handle An Argument

[Rebecca: There is a tall, lanky boy with a mop of brown hair playing a wooden violin beautifully, its notes soaring to the heavens. He’s got so much hair in his eyes I can hardly see his face! He’s tall and thin, wearing long trousers. His name is Adam. He’s saying “Chill out man, relax…”]

“It is so important that you relax. There is no job in the world that can be stressful for you unless you allow it to. There is no person in the world that can push your buttons unless you allow them to be pushed. There is no situation in the world that is so frightening or filled with adrenalin that you can’t breathe your way through every second of it.

If you can achieve perfect tranquility and calm while floating in your bathtub with candles, meditating on the beach, performing in your yoga class or blissing out in the sunshine, then there is no reason why you can’t produce that same heart and brain state while sitting at your office desk or standing face-to-face with another in an argument.

Calmness is a state of being, and you can learn to switch it on and off at your will. Personally, I like to keep mine switched on at all times and let nothing interfere with my chosen state of calmness. If you consistently choose to be calm, nothing can ruffle your feathers. No one can injure or damage you, and no situation can cause you physical sickness, aches, pains and terror.

Learn to find that place of total calm and security deep within yourself, and you have found the key to living life on earth.”

bill.gifDo You Put Your Soul First?

[Rebecca: I see a pirate named Bill with a stripey hat, brown beard, patch over one eye, wooden leg, parrot – very stereotypical! – standing on his wooden boat, bobbing up and down on the blue sea. “Stick to your convictions,” he says, banging a wooden pole against the wooden floorboards…]

“Have heart. It’s good to have a strong heart and stick to your guns where necessary. So many of you are pushovers in life. You are people-pleasers and doormats. You constantly bow out or negate your personal wants or interests for those of others. Why should you grant more credence to them? Why should anyone else’s wants come before your own?

If you can look after yourself the best, only then can you care for another, be it a child, an ageing grandparent or your partner. It is not bad or arrogant to move through life putting yourself first – it is a necessity and it is how your soul is meant to operate. Done with silent strength, harmony and conviction, it is a beautiful thing to behold. All the strong leaders that you admire in the world have learned to place their souls first and thus – because they walk a path that is true to themselves – others admire, and follow.

Never settle for anything less than the best for yourself. Take what you want with goodness in your heart and speak your mind where the situation requires. Be safe in the knowledge that only good can come from these actions for you are divinely supported in a divine sense when you are true to yourself and honour your soul – for when you honour your soul, you honour God. When you give away your energy to others you are rendered powerless and become an easy doormat for them to trample on.”

nadia.jpgBedroom Advice From a Turkish Sex Goddess

[Rebecca: I have a very exotic Turkish goddess here called Nadia with glossy dark hair and brown skin, gold glinting jewellery, sparkling jewel eyes, performing an erotic dance…]

“Learn to view your bodies sensually and use them as sensual tools. When in the bedroom, you should be able to relax and use any part of your body at any time. Your body should feel relaxed and flexible and flowing. It should never be held in rigid positions or undergo repetitive motions.

Your body should be lithe like a snake, able to wriggle and turn any which way at any time, sensitive to the touch. Wriggly with pleasure! Sensuousness should be able to shiver right down your body from the nape of your neck to the toes on your feet.

Get to know and love all your body’s dips and curves for they are magnificent and holy. They enable a woman to be voracious in the bedroom, for it is our dips and curves that men quest to explore.

The more relaxed you are at heart while lying back, the more your limbs can melt and embrace a partner, thus leading to a greater spiritual divine and pleasurable experience in which two souls meet and true pure, loving energy is exchanged. This is good for the heart and spirit, and calms and soothes a busy mind."

henrietta.jpgDoes Your Brain Flow?

[Rebecca: I’ve got a little white-haired old granny called Doris with rosy apple cheeks sitting in a rocking chair knitting, rocking back and forth with little wire glasses and a patchwork quilt over her lap. She’s wagging her finger…]

“Don’t think you know it all! Young people get some very lofty ideals. From a frightening young age they decide to make up their minds firmly on many matters and will not budge for the rest of their lives out of these strong belief paradigms. Many are inherited from their parents and grandparents above them; others are conditioned by the environment that they have been raised on.

The most dangerous thing you can do is to have a closed mind from a young age. Your mind should never be made up on any topic – politics, social, economic, spiritual, lifestyle, materialistic, commercial, professional, educational. The universe is in a constant state of flux and change; so, too, should be your brain. Nothing is ever static and if it becomes so, stagnancy sets in. Allow your brain to flow and adapt to differing circumstances and you will lead a flexible and prosperous life.

If you can maintain an open mind at all times and wait for circumstances to prove to you in their own right which way you will choose to think about them – rather than being told by others the correct way to think – you will have a far more enriched experience of the world.

Nothing is ever set in stone, so don’t be afraid to change any belief at any time. You can lose a belief you’ve held for 45 years in less than a second should you choose to, and it will damage or hurt no one. Rather, it will free you from the cage you have built around yourself and enable you to see much further than your physical eyes can ‘see’.”

tibetanmonk.jpgAre You A Sparking Rainbow – Or A Dirty Window?

[Rebecca: I can hear chines and smell incense. There are Tibetans monks around me with burnished brass ritualistic instruments. We are in a Himalayan temple. The monks have shaved heads and are wearing saffron. The incense is wafting up to the ceiling. It is very ceremonial and there’s a holy silence between the chantings. The master is approaching m barefoot on the woven rugs...]

“Speak no evil. Feel peace in your heart. The divine message is truth. As above, so below. Humans are live channels for grace and God. If you accept the responsibility that your flesh is a conductor for divine greatness for all eternity, then how can you abuse it? You should keep your temples [bodies] sparkling clean by holding pure thoughts, ingesting only pure fruit, vegetables and water, and keeping an open heart and mind at all times without judgement.

We are all channels of the Creator. This is not a role to be taken lightly. Each and every one of us filters God’s light through us, yet it comes out of all of us in different ways. Some of us are like dirty windows and the light can only shine out through a few holes. Others of us have become many sparkling crystals with rainbows and mirrors bouncing and refracting off all the different beautiful shards in a thousand different ways.

If you know that when you wake up every morning you are acting as a living conductor for God’s grace, how will you then choose to spend your days? How can you carry God’s lightness along with the heaviness of your own flesh? Learn to lighten your load through cleansing and purification of the mind, body and spirit (the physical and the emotional).

The clearer you can become a channel for grace – your physical body becomes as transparent as glass and energetically as clean and fluffy and light as a cloud – the greater God’s love and gold light will shine through you and touch others, spreading a network of golden goodness around the entire globe.

Take your role being here on earth seriously. You are an important facet in the enormous mirror that reflects God’s beauty across the earth and allows us to be a blessed, harmonious, living organism.”

christabel.jpgDo You Listen To Your ‘Heartspeak’?

[Rebecca: I have a lady in white here, called Christabel, with dark brown hair. She is a special kind of fairy-angel; very light and wispy. She lives in forests near streams with her ghostly white sisters, like the wilis in Giselle. Her laughter is like tinkling bells. She’s got her hands placed on her heart and she’s talking about nurturing and love… bringing that which you feel in your chest, just beneath the skin, out to others, showing and demonstrating your feelings through physical actions that make others feel cared and valued for…]

“So many of you think too much in your heads. You live and exist solely in your minds. You think things over and over, and run conversations through your heads a million times a day. You might begin to write letters in your heads that are never really finished or written on paper. You analyse phone conversations and berate yourself at night in bed when you think, ‘I really should have done…’ or ‘I wish I had told this person…’

You must learn to live less in your minds and more in your hearts. The person who lives their daily life guided by the feelings in their chest has a richer, more fulfilling experience and they tread a more grounded, worthy and honourable path. Accolades reign on their shoulders.

Living from the heart means being in touch with the emotions that you feel beneath your throat, not those above your eyes, which are so often frenetic and static-y with your constantly jumbled thoughts heightened by sugar rushes. The feelings in your heart are more true as they are more heavy, grounded and connected through the soles of your feet down into the wisdom of the earth.

Your heart knows and tells all. Your heart can lead you in the right directions in life and can tell you what you really feel about someone despite the jumbled analytical messages that your mind may be producing on the topic. Children especially must be understood and nurtured from the heart chakra. If your heart says to act, you must. If your heart hesitates with wise counsel, then hold back. If your heart feels keenly, then you must express this to the person you are yearning for, for to bottle feelings up and never know the truth is far worse a fate than to unleash them and flow wild and free with your emotions and their outcomes.

If you begin to ask your heart how it feels at least once every day and put into place a physical action as a result of your heartspeak, you are well on the way to living a truer, freer existence with blessings.”

bumblebee.jpgHas The World Placed You In A Box?

[Rebecca: I see a black-and-yellow striped bumblebee, very velvety... gold and black velvet, bumbling and buzzing up and down, waving its filmy wings…]

“Bumblebees are busy, industrious little workers whose fingers and toes are constantly busy gathering nectar and making honey for the future. They all know their purpose and they belong to a heavily organised, structured group and hierarchy of workers who belong to the hive community. Each bee knows its place and its role and leaves the other bees alone, never trying to overstep their mark. Tasks are performed and accepted dutifully and without question and performed to the best of each of their abilities. Bees do not think for themselves. They are role players and they do a brilliant and high skilled job.

Our society has structured itself much like the bees, with everyone organised into different areas, vocations and roles – therefore, they can easily label and identify themselves with different groups (whichever groups make them feel comfortable).

It is OK to accept your lot in life without question if you are content at heart, but often there can be no evolution or advancement without upheaval – and that means breaking through some of the organised shapes of the wax honeycomb rooms and creating your own new spaces!

Society likes to put everyone in a box and label them, so that society can understand how everyone has a place and fits in. But if you ever feel like you are a square peg in a round hole and that you cant be boxed – or feel frustrated at being boxed in – know that you have the universe’s permission to walk free and create your own identity and destiny.

You are not worker bees colonising the earth; you are individual bright sparks, and our souls are so unique and varied that it is fundamental that you break free of any conformity that some of you have tried to place the rest of you in. Never feel alone if you feel different. There are many of you scattered all across the earth and there is great power should all of you join together and declare to the world, ‘I am not like you. I am different. I think differently. I behave differently. I create my own space and I am OK with my truth.’

The world respects honesty and truth, and you will come a long way by being true to your roots as early as possible. Know thyself.”

clara.jpg‘Being Single’ Is An Urban Myth

[Rebecca: I see a girl with glossy brown hair, apple red cheeks and red lips called Clara. She is sucking on a lolly pop. She has shiny black patent Mary Jane shoes and is wearing a pinafore…]

“This is an empowering message for those of you who are currently single. Do not feel threatened, pressured or jealous by those who are married or in long-term relationships. There is a tendency on earth to always believe that the grass is greener on the other side of that you have or do not have. Being in a relationship never necessitates happiness unless both the individuals in that arrangement are already happy people within themselves.

Having a companion may provide some interesting experiences and enjoyable times, but you are in a far more powerful place as you can pick and choose those who you wish to spend time with for optimum enjoyment and pleasure. Your hours and demands are more flexible. You have only to account for yourself and need never worry about the thoughts, feelings and schedules of another.

Being single is not a dirty word. It is not an ‘unpreferred state’ to be in. it is in fact not a ‘state’ at all, for whether you have a companion nearby or not makes absolutely no difference to the person you are and the life you lead. You are the same person throughout your entire life, whether or not you are sleeping with, living with, married to or dating someone. Those people who define themselves through their relationships have their values confused, for it is not the other person who makes them who they are.

Learn to not adhere to the earth’s derogatory beliefs about singledom and the many clichés and catchphrases pertaining to singles. You are not ‘single’ – you are a whole, complete human being with a rich and varied life, opened to an ever-changing multitude of experiences. You have the self-empowerment and flexibility to do anything you like at any time.

If you believe you would derive pleasure from being with a partner at this time, then simply manifest one by putting out positive, open, welcome thoughts and beliefs into the universe and being open to what may unfold for your best and highest good.”

johann.jpgYou Do Not Need a Gym Membership To Exercise

[Rebecca: I have a tall, ragged youth with brown skin and flashing black eyes and black hair called Johann here. He is from medieval times and has a trained falcon on one fist. He is here to talk to you about physical exercise…]

“Get your bodies moving. So many of you have stagnant blood in your veins from sitting for long hours in front of the computer or television. Jump up and run outside! Get your muscles burning. Feel the cold wind whipping your cheeks, aiding their circulation. Throw your limbs around and jog on the spot. Feel the muscles burning in your legs and gluts.

Buy yourself a pair of comfortable, supportive exercise shoes and some comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and you will have no excuse to go outside and pound the pavements. You do not need expensive equipment or a gym membership to exercise. Throughout the history of the world, people have gotten fit through simply walking out of their front doors into the environment outside, and moving through that environment in ways they enjoyed.

Whether power-walking, skipping, jumping, jogging, or long- or short-distance running, good, quick, robust physical exercise is fantastic for your circulation and for making you feel alive, the blood zinging in your veins, the sweat glands working properly and your mind being steadily cleared from the stresses of the day.”

oriental_princess.jpgIs A Family Member Pushing Your Buttons?

[Rebecca: I have a little Oriental princess shuffling toward me with black hair, wearing a blue embroidered silk hat and robes. In her hands she holds expensive and beautiful pearls...]

"It is so important, particularly for those of you who come from large families, to maintain peaceful and harmonious relations between all members at all times. Our families are chosen to be with us very deliberately and purposefully.

There are always people in our immediate families who know how to push our buttons, and do so over and over until we reach breaking point and often have shouting matches!

These family members bring us a wonderful gift in this lifetime, for they are here to keep reminding us of those aspects of our personality we yearn to change and evolve. We can learn much from being around our most annoying family members, for it is they who continue to highlight and challenge our weak areas and force us to evolve.

While it is easy and tempting to hate certain members of the family, to bitch and gossip about them or to bicker, nag or fight with them regularly, try and take a higher perspective on the situation and rise above your petty earth habits. If you are a spiritual soul, the why are you falling into such childish patterns?

Treat all those in your immediate family circle with love, respect and trust no matter what they do, for whatever actions they take or words they say are never about you personally but are more a reflection of their own journeys of spiritual growth.

They will only lash out at you if they are hurting inside, so send them love and healings, and trust that any uncomfortableness between you and your family members may be resolved and lovingly healed with help from the divine."

harvey.jpgAre You Voting With Your Feet?

[Rebecca: There is a tall, thin lad name Harvey here, with a big mop of brown hair. He comes from America in the 1970s and drives a wood-panelled station wagon! He wears dark blue denim flares and is studying at university. He is smoking a pipe and has a band of fabric wrapped around his head…]

“Never think that the ‘powers that be’ or authorities above you hold the utmost power and cannot be broken down. Sometimes you may feel like a small ant surrounded by huge mountains of bureaucracies, organisations, laws, political parties and structures which are oppressive, or which we do not like. However, it is imperative that you believe in the power of the people.

You may feel alone in thinking that an enormous corporation that ravages the environment and mines for oil is in the wrong, but there are many like-minded individuals exactly like you who feel just as passionately about the cause – and it’s as simple as joining the dots to bring you all together into a consolidated group. While smaller in number than the large corporations that you fight, the passion and convictions in your hearts far outweigh the passions of these corporations many times over, and thus lies the true power of the people.

People can vote with their feet. You can walk away from organisations and companies whose practices you do not condone and support. Likewise, you choose every day where to give your money. Do not buy products or services from companies, brands or organisations who promote practices you despise, or even those who simply give you a bad vibe when looking at their packaging in the supermarket.

It can be very overwhelming to look out at the world and see huge, far-reaching and devastating epidemics, governments, wars, whale-hunting and other powerful and long-established practices. However, these were all started by humans who came together with a common purpose, and can be overthrown in the twinkling of an eye by other humans who come together through strong, committed purposes with higher intentions for the human race.

The point is that you must never feel powerless or useless or unable to act. There are millions of small things you can do every day in every way to combat the dark powers that be and help to unite a happier, healthier, safer, better-looked-after and united world for you and other families and children.”

neilsen.jpgWhy Do You Drink Alcohol?

[Rebecca: I see a an old, white-haired man with blue eyes named Neilsen. He’s an old Norwegian shipping hand. He is standing at the wooden wheel of the ship and steering it over high seas…]

“Be gentle with the delicate, sacred eco-systems of your ripe young bodies when consuming high amounts of alcohol. Alcohol is a poison and a toxin to yourselves, your blood and energy.

When you deliberately overdose on too much alcohol, you are conducting self-sabotage and are purposefully mutilating and violating the delicate balance and vibration of your body and its natural harmony. As young females particularly, your bodies are beautiful and sensitive. They are smaller and at greater risk of harm by repetitively drinking in large amounts.

Within you all, you house the capabilities for growing life, and while many of you are not thinking of having babies yet, the ravaging of your bodies that you undergo in your early years can often slow down your natural processes in years to come.

Remember to consume plenty of water, regularly flushing the toxins out of your body, whether you are or aren’t consuming alcohol. Treat yourself to freshly pureed fruit and vegetable juices, and load yourselves up with natural vitamins and vibrant life-force.

When reaching for a glass of alcohol or standing in a long line at a bar to order some, ask yourself why you are doing so? Is it so that your hands have something to do? Is it because all your friends are drinking, and will ask questions you cannot answer if you decline alcohol? Is it because you are bored and use alcohol as a guise to become louder, bolder, more charismatic? Do you feel you are a different, better person when you drink alcohol, or that it affords you more exciting experiences – and if so, reflect deeply and ask yourself why your every day personality is not good enough?

You needn’t stop drinking alcohol altogether, but have a continued awareness about when, where and how much you consume. For making conscious, loving decisions regarding our bodies is one of the first steps of spiritual growth that we encounter and are challenged with.”

shaman.jpgDoes Your Bedroom Have ‘Dead’ Corners?

[Rebecca: I have a shaman guide here with a cheetah or wild cat skin over his head. He is tall and burly, with brown eyes and bushy eyebrows. He is talking about the heart, flowing hot blood and fire. He comes from a tradition where heat and sweat lodges are used to exorcise spirits and detoxify impurities and viruses out of the blood. ‘Fire and smoke are used to purify energy…’]

“Learn to purify your spaces. From the nook that your desk sits in in a corner at work, to your small bedroom in a share house, to your locker at the gym, to the driver’s seat of your car... all these spaces where you spend time and store your possessions – and thus your personal energy – must be permeated with your individual touch, flavour, scent and energy to make them divinely yours.

Purifying a space is easy and need only take a few moments or a couple of minutes. You may like to concoct a spray bottle filled with pure water and a few drops of your chosen essential oil. Shake it and spritz it around the area you wish to cleanse, stating a positive intention as you do so, such as ‘I hereby cleanse this space. I ask all heavy residual negative energies and entities to leave and return to the white light’, or other words to that effect which best suit your purposes.

You can also buy white sage from alternative stores. Burn and smoke the sage throughout your room or space, repeating the positive intentions once more. If you can’t find sage, incense is just as good. You can purify spaces by burning essential oils in oil burners, and by tying coloured swathes of fabric in various junctures around the room, encouraging a feng shui-like flow of chi or energy to circulate. It always helps to throw open a window or door to let fresh sunshine, air and breezes into the space. You may call upon spirit guides, angels, elementals, or goddesses to help you conduct your work.

Other useful tips include removing clutter, throwing out old objects and buying and replacing them with new ones, from fresh linen on the beds to fresh flowers, new trinkets or ornaments dangling from the ceiling, walls or windows, and/or new furnishings such as a brightly coloured rug.

Purifying the spaces you live in is important, for you will find many stagnant or ‘dead’ areas or corners which must be opened and ‘cleaned’ to encourage a better circular flow of energy. This in turn helps your body switch on, operate, receive intuitive information, be creative and feel peace and harmony.”

pan.jpgCan Rock Music Drain My Energy?

[Rebecca: I have the Greek god Pan here with his shaggy goat legs, ruddy complexion and goatee. He is trotting around and sitting next to me on a bench. He has a green ivy wreath around his head. He wants to talk to you about rock music…]

“Be aware that some forms of music are darker than others and have been channelled by people on earth who are in dark or depressed places.

Much of the mainstream rock music and other heavier form of music which you hear on the radio and in albums have been channelled or ‘brought through’ by depressive types, often angry young men and women sitting at home in a fug of cigarette and marijuana smoke and beer, in a depressive state surrounded by other angry and depressed people.

The messages, lyrics and melodies that they put down on paper and strum through their guitars are well and true and genuine, and these sounds may resonate and ‘speak’ to other members of the population who are in similar places in their lives and thus identify clearly with the sounds at hand.

However, many of you – particularly those of you in Generation Y – have a lighter, happier, more joyful energy and do not need to be dragged down by heavier, darker forms of ‘older’ music which were first moulded in the 60s and also the 90s, when many people were experiencing dark drug phases and personal growth.

You in Generation Y – particularly girls – will find you are better suited to light, poppy, joyful, playful melodies, which bring our the happy, carefree, pixie energy inside you, and allow you to dance and be happy on the earth. Many Generation Y males will occasionally resonate with dark, heavier rock music as they are passing through angry and turbulent hormonal patches.

The important message is, be aware of what you are listening to when you turn the knob on the radio or select a CD in a store or choose to see a live act or concert. Not all music is ‘good’ for you. Learn to identify which harmonies, tunes and groups have messages which lift your soul and light you up inside, and stay away from those which don’t, as they can be power-depleting and energetically draining if you are exposed too much to them.

Music is a wonderful tool and there are sounds and groups enough for everyone on earth to enjoy and identify with. Know your genre and be safe and have fun within it.”

plump_angel.jpgHave You Respected Your Body Today?

[Rebecca: I have a plump female angel here. She has a message for you about which she is passionate, and eager to tell you about…]

“I am here to warn you against reckless behaviour on earth – those activities which place you in real physical and mortal danger. So often as young people we drive our cars quickly, speed around corners and take blind turns. We are fuelled by impatience, and sometimes aggro or road rage at the others driving around us. So many young lives are lost on your earth due to frivolous road accidents which can be so easily avoided by simply going slightly slower.

I also warn you against burning yourselves out in your offices and jobs. Many young people believe they have to be workaholics, chaining themselves to their professions in long, hard hours. There is no balance or natural cycle to these behaviours and the world does not dictate that humans should fall into these traps.

Devoting an unhealthy amount of hours to your job can be very physically damaging in the long run, from tight knots and muscles in the shoulders to neck and back problems and migraines, to stress levels rising within the body and affecting the blood, organs and immune system, to a myriad of other ailments which prey on the bodies of those who are worn down and running on their adrenal glands.

Learn to value your sleep. Sleep the proper amount of hours per night. Infuse your diet with fresh, leafy green vegetables and spring water. Learn to relax, play, laugh and get some physical movement into your days and weeks to counter-effect the long hours you spend at your desks. Many long-term and ‘adult’ diseases can be avoided by implementing safe, healthy practices in your lifestyles and routines now.

Think ahead for your future and the wellbeing and longevity of your physical bodies here on earth, for they are the vessels that carry you as you move from minute to minute, hour to hour in every day life. So often we take our physical bodies for granted, but remember to hold them as sacred – and treat them as such.”

viripashna.jpgIs Your Brain Bored?

[Rebecca: I have an ascended master from India here called Viripashna. He became an ascended master back in ancient times. He is a male, many-armed god. He was connected to the spirit of Ghandi here on earth…]

“Do not be afraid to open your minds to their full capacity so that you may explore all possible realms, outcomes and corners of the universe. The further you throw open the gates of your mind, the greater the knowledge that you can attract.

It pays to keep an open mind when studying, for even as you cram your brain full of facts and figures, there is yet always more room and mental space to be expanded. Sometimes the brain feels overstuffed, like it can absorb no more knowledge – yet this is deceiving. There are many, may empty chambers lying dormant in the human mind just waiting to be filled with new exciting titbits and stimuli from the world around us.

It is important to feed your brain every day, whether doing a crossword puzzle or suduko in the morning newspaper, challenging yourself with trivia on TV game shows, reading thick books, having a passionate, inspired conversation on a complex topic with another individual, or writing your recollections down on paper. All these things act to fire, challenge and stimulate the brain. They are exercise for your brain, and are thus inherently good for you.

The more active you keep your brain waves, the younger at heart and in your mind you will be – and thus you can defy ageing! You will remain sharp as a tack until great old age and be able to keep up with the best of them.

Is your brain hungry for food, news, information, new learning experiences, new friends, new projects, creativity, or simply a different book to the ones you normally read? Find something that provides exciting mental stimulation and devote 10-15 mins to this stimulating brain activity each day.”

juno.jpgNelson Mandela Does It And You Can Too…

[Rebecca: The goddess Juno is here, wearing a long white gown. She has long, wavy brown hair and holds out a bowl in front of her in her hands. She is barefoot...]

“I beseech all of you, every day in every way, to begin slowly eradicating hate from this earth, and filling and replacing it with pure love. Make it your mission to love every being that you come across, from grumpy old men to bitchy girls who push your buttons, to screaming children in cafes, to the lowly ants under your feet. It is not a perfect world, and everybody will never get along completely harmoniously, but try and hold love in your heart for every being that you interact with. You may fight, argue or disagree on the surface, but never let that taint your deeper human love for the oneness that is the human race as a whole.

It is so easy to hate or dislike others, particularly villains, murderers, or evil government figures, but you must take a higher perspective on the situation. Rise above much of these irrational reactions to fear and simply transmute love in volumes all around you, the way beautiful beings like Mother Teresa, Jesus and Nelson Mandela did and do.

We must work at filling up the earth with as much love as she can hold and handle. There are many pockets of the earth that crave love right now. You can send love with your thoughts and wishes. You can package up goods for charities, contribute money to organisations or simply hold out a hand to a child or elderly person in need.

Let’s keep the love flowing strongly and thickly around the globe, permeating everyone and everything, lighting up our earth so that few shadows or pockets of darkness can remain. Join me in raising the level of love on our planet day by day, week by week, through whichever ways feel right and best for you. Blessings and thank you!”

brigittina.jpgFeel Like You Can’t Get Off The Couch? Here’s Why

[Rebecca: I have a Dutch milkmaid here, Brigittina, wearing an outfit trimmed with lace. She has rosy cheeks and blonde pigtails. She is holding out her skirts with her hands and is very merry. She would like to talk to you about different ways to get your energy levels up…]

“Good energy or ‘life-force’ is when you are zinging with light energy, creativity and purpose. When you are drained of life-force you feel sluggish, lethargic, tired, numb and slow. Trying to organise your thoughts may feel like wading through mud. It is impossible to get off the couch and do anything, and too much of this can lead to sickness and depression.

Many of you are finding your life force is being zapped in many small ways layered throughout the day, from eating non-organic foods purchased in the supermarket to sitting in front of computer radiation for long hours each day, under the free radicals in fluorescent lighting; from breathing in pollution to accepting the rigours of stress in your lives.

There are a number of things you can do to balance out your life and reintroduce energy into various areas. Yoga, pilates or stretching is a wonderful activity to indulge in for an hour or more per week. It lengthens the limbs and works with the ancient meridian systems of the body to encourage the flow of ‘chi’ through stagnant areas and move toxins through your bloodstream.

You should also be conscientious when choosing food. Look for freshly-picked items and organic farm produce. If possible, grow some of your own fruits, vegetables and herbs in pots or in your garden, and eat these in conjunction with the seasons that they grow. You can also cleanse yourself spiritually and energetically by placing crystals on your body, bathing in a salt bath, taking a dip in the ocean or walking through a natural rainforest or bushland.

Finally, you can raise your energy by doing and surrounding yourselves with the things that you love, such as wearing certain colours, being around certain friends, indulging in pastimes that bring you joy, and sometimes simply relaxing at home with your feet up on the table, reading a book or enjoying a cool drink.

Give back to your body regularly and it will serve you well through the long hard days of work and life.”

archangel.jpgWhy Am I Always Waaaiiitting For Stuff To Happen?

[Rebecca: There is a large angel on my left hand side with huge, enormous wings. He is one of the archangels, Gabriel...]

“Patience is a virtue. You live in a world that does whatever it can do to detract from your patience. Everything is instant, and it is trained your mind to expect actions, results and products instantly.

In the old world, humans knew that everything happened as time unfolded. There was very little ‘instantaneousness’. People were tuned into a slower rhythmic cycle within their bodies, the seasons, the earth, the moon and the stars. They understood that it took time for cycles to turn and complete. They did not rush or hurry ideas, thoughts, projects or events, as they knew that they would arrive in their best possible time, and never before.

Your obsession with instantness and your resisting the natural, slow body-and-earth cycles is resulting in the high stress levels in your society today. Discard as many tools that encourage instantness in your lives, such as beepers and remote controls, or limit the time you spend with electronic equipment and other time-saving, man-made devices which speed and hurry up things which used to take  a certain natural rhythm and time.

It is time to relearn the value of patience; to not feel flustered or stressed when something does not happen immediately, or on your timeline. You have all come to expect that you can produce results according to self-dictated timelines, but the world has never operated this way, and hence as you resist the natural flow, you feel stressed.

Breathe in and out with ease, slowly and rhythmically, and feel grounded to the earth. Let the pressure of ‘instantness’ roll off your shoulders. Know that everything that can and will happen always does so in its own natural time and rhythm. Put your trust in the divine, in the earth and in your own body’s cycles, and you will see that the goods always come out in the end in a way far better than you could pre-ordain yourself.”

dancegiant.jpgWhy Spirit Guides Want You To Hit The Dance Floor

[Rebecca: I have a large, robust, dark figure with me now – something of a giant. He wants to talk to you about dance…]

“Dance is one of the most natural ways your body knows to reconnect with the earth and its rhythms. When you dance, particularly to the beat of primal drums or the playing of live instruments, you are having an important energetic experience in which energy or chi flows through your body clearly and easily, cleaning you out and energising you.

When you dance, many heavy energies you have collected over the past days and weeks are flung from you body, or drain away into the earth or floor that you are pounding with your feet. You raise the joy in your body and the room, you set your heart pumping, blood coursing through your veins, making your muscles and organs feel alive and energised.

When was the last time you danced properly? The type of dancing where you can close your eyes and feel the rhythms pulsating through your body? The type where you feel pure endorphins and adrenalin coursing through you with sheer joy? The type where you are sweaty and out of breath, but feel exhilarated and happy?

Literally throw off your shackles. Don’t worry about other people looking at you, or what others think. Throw up your arms, kick your heels and allow your body to move and flow in the ways that feel natural and best for it, along with the type of music that lights you up inside. A good dance is a good, rigorous soul cleaning, and everyone should make it a priority regularly in life.”

peter.jpgTime To Cut Those Energetic Cords

[Rebecca: I have Peter here, a ruddy-cheeked woodcutter from the woodlands in Germany with brown hair and blue clothing, holding an axe. He lives in a wooden house in the forest…]

“Independence! All of you are entwined in complex arrangements of families, friends, loved ones, partners, children, colleagues, relatives, teachers and social acquaintances – yet it is imperative that you maintain a fierce streak of independence. Never allow another person to organise your days for you, to set the routine or to make your future plans. To do so is to surrender a degree of your own power to that other person, no matter how much you love them or what their role in your life may be.

You must all learn to simultaneously exist as a daughter, wife, mother, girlfriend, sister, best friend, niece and grandchild, as well as being an independent soul and professional in your own right. You can be many things to many people, but what are you being to yourself? Who are you when you wake up in the morning? What do you give yourself each day? What are your long-term plans for yourself and how do you honour your soul? Have you created a world around you where you can choose the things that make you happy at any time, without worrying about reactions or hindrances from those close to you?

You should be able to move freely through life, making decisions that are respected and honoured by others, no matter whether your actions may contradict their own personal beliefs. You can never be responsible for others’ perceptions or reactions to what you do, but it is so important that you live your truth and maintain your own independence in all matters so that you can always follow your heart and do what feels best for you in any given instance.

You cannot live your life worrying about the wrath of others. Cut free some of the energetic cords that bind you to various people in your life and their opinions, and stride forward freely and boldly into your own self-created future happiness.”

marie_antoinette.jpgHow To Spread Small Acts of Kindness

[Rebecca: I get the name Marie Antoinette, but I’m picking up the energy of a brown-haired upper-class noblewoman from the French court in the 1600s or 1700s. Her world is one of much finery, splendour and grandeur. She wears a crinoline skirt, stiff corset and silk slippers – and a wig! She speaks of lost social graces and airs, and is very demure… it’s all tea and cakes and croquet. She speaks of the importance of courteousness…]

“There are some very basic, golden, time-old manners which many young people have lost today. They needn’t be elaborate, over-the-top or fake-sounding, but a few simple, warm, appreciative words spoken to a host or hostess at a party, a gift-giver or a friend in need, with a warm, reassuring touch of the hand, is part of a beautiful set of graces which belong to a bygone era.

These small acts of kindness, authenticity and warmth from the heart speak volumes. They are quickly communicated, yet their intent, power and the meaning they leave behind are enormous. You should never be in too much of a hurry, or too lost in your own thoughts, to say a simple, sincere and appreciative ‘thank you’ for any service that has been rendered or given you by another. It is well and good to thank people via emails and texts, but when spoken in your own voice, your hand on their hand, with some eye contact, there can be nothing more powerful between two people.

Acknowledging kindnesses is an important reciprocal part you must play in the universe, in the same way that we should acknowledge our gratefulness to the divine forces that assist us in our daily lives. Don’t forget your Ps and Qs and honour those around you by looking them in the eye and thanking them as the occasions arise.”

dina.jpgAre Dirty Houses Better For You?

[Rebecca: I have an American housewife or maid from the 30s or 40s here called Dina with black hair, wearing a frilly apron and furry slippers, holding a mop. She’s talking about obsessively wiping away spots or stains on your white countertop, feeling panicky about removing the shadow of a stain, or dirt, from your kitchen…]

“‘Cleanliness is next to godliness’. In history, dirt has always represented the ‘unclean’: germs and dangers lurking, vermin, viruses, bugs and things which can harm humans, babies or pets.

So often these days we resort to antibacterial hand washes, wipes and sprays, and use them with a vengeance in our kitchens, bathrooms and on shiny surfaces around the home. In the olden days we cleaned our household surfaces with gentle, natural waxes and lavender oils, which served as natural insect repellents, were gentle on the furniture and on our lungs, skin and eyes. We were not as ravaged with allergies back then, for our cleaning products were gentler and more natural, and did not interfere with the eco-system in our houses and bodies the way that stringent chemicals do now.

In the modern world there is an obsession with cleanliness – one which would be considered extreme by those housewives who came just a few generations before us. They were happy to wipe down a surface with a sponge or mop and leave it at that. Their children touched all surfaces, played on earthen floors and outside in the natural environment with farmyard animals. They were grounded, happy and healthy; their immune systems were strong and they did not view the world as something to be feared, the way many young children are taught today. They felt secure about the environment and their place in it.

If you find yourself cleaning the same surface more than three times in one day, particularly using detergents or Spray ’N Wipe, ask yourself why are you indulging in such obsessive behaviours. Is it that the surface is truly ‘unclean’, or are you trying to rub away a thought that you consider ‘dirty’ that is staining your mind? This needn’t be a sexual reference, but rather an opportunity to stare down old fears and look at the deeper motives that are causing your surface behaviours.”
